All good stuff. When are you going to post another Carl's Junior commercial, that is my all time favorite of yours! I still remember those steaming buns and sizzling onions. :)
Because you asked so nicely, Ryan, I'll post another of those soon. :-)
Your "why I cheat" was interesting and reminded me of a situation from my past. Several years ago my wife and I were swingers. We have now aged out of that activity. We got a reply from one of ads and made contact. All the premeeting contacts were with the wife whose name was Kat (and that's the truth) After two or three get to gathers we made a date to swing. They arrived a we chatted for a while and I said to Kat "let's you and me go upstairs." we had a great time and when we were pausing between times talked about this and that. This was her first time to swing and I was exploring how they came to want to swing. She described a husband much as you did. As we were getting dressed I realized I had nor heard her husband and my wife leave from down stairs. They had not. Many months later I had a chance meeting with her. They were divorced. the husband never did learn how to be intimate. I no longer blog but do comment from time totime
I just discovered your blog today and have enjoyed reading some of the history. You write well and I'll be stopping by again. I wanted to comment on a Jan 9,2012 post "My Therapist is Obsessed". You were saying about the "what are you feeling thing. I an a retired therapist with about 25 years experience. I think I can safely say I NEVER ask what are you feeling not once. But I did say things like "tell me what you were thinking" when whatever. It is my view that we think before we feel. I worked on the theory that thinking drives thoughts which drive behavior. If changing behavior is the objective then changing thinking is where one begins
Because I start to follow your blog only recently, so I can only say that I look forward to your new postings in 2013.
