This weeks TMI Tuesday theme is Let's Go to Bed.

1. A friend is coming to have sex. There are 3 twin beds and an air mattress in the room. What do you do? (choose one)

Well this is interesting, it sounds like I'm waiting on my friend to come over...

a. Have sex where ever we land first, who needs a bed?

Well, this could certainly happen if I'm attacked by my lover upon her arrival.

b. Have sex on a single twin mattress

Single twin, single twin, single twin. Yes that sounds like a bit of a paradox! But really, am I having sex only once? Must I choose only one?

c. Have sex on an air mattress

Ah-ha! Now we're talking! Rambunctious sex as many times as I want with a personal goal of popping that sucker!

d. Or? (tell us your solution)

2. What is the oddest thing you have in your bedroom that someone would be surprised to find. Why is it there?

To some degree the oddest thing would depend on who that someone is. But, generally I would say Hot Rod, Pink Cuffs or the book I've been reading as of late with lots of pictures, Screw the Roses, Send me the Thorns. They're there for sex of course! I started exploring a little late in life, but I am exploring!

3. What are your favorite sheets?

a. Flannel

I love flannel sheets on cold winter nights. Very cozy.

b. Cotton

If I had to choose I'd say high thread-count cotton sheets are my favorite.

c. T-shirt cotton (jersey)

I've never tried these, I'm curious though. Leave a comment and tell me if you like them.

d. Satin

I've never tried satin either. I bet satin sheets feel lovely against your skin; great for sex I bet, but what about sleeping?

4. Do you sleep with sheets tucked in or out? Why?

This question seems kind of funny. Of course the bottom sheet is tucked in. The top one is tucked in about half way up from the foot of the bed, but having the top sheet tucked in at the head of the bed would seem to make it difficult to get in and out of bed. I suppose the top sheet could be tucked back in after I'm in bed by someone else... Why am I envisioning standing the mattress up and using a roll of plastic wrap to keep a person in the bed with the top sheet tucked in...?

5. What is your usual bedtime? Why?

a. 8-10 pm

With a regular work schedule this is mostly the correct answer, with a bit of D.

b. 10-12 midnight

c. 12-24

huh?

d. Whenever my eyes won’t stay open any longer.

5. Do you sleep with closet door(s) shut or open? Bedroom door shut or open? Any particular reason why?

My answer on this will probably be a bit boring for folks. I sleep with the closet doors shut because the room looks less cluttered. The bedroom door is typically kept shut because it's more quiet in my room that way. Also, my dog sleeps on the floor on her bed in my bedroom and with the door shut I don't have to listen to her wandering in and out, click-ity click-ity on the wood floor, during the night.

6. Have you ever broken a bed or other furniture during sex?

No I haven't, but boy I'm sure I've come close! I've had the room look practically re-arranged :-)

7. What’s your favorite type of bed for sex?

Not long ago I would have said I'm not sure. However with recent discovery, I would say a bed with posts or a headboard and foot-board you can tie things too. Light Bondage Anyone?

8. What do you sleep in?

a. Lingerie

Eeek! No I don't have this kind of kink!

b. Underwear

Yup, this is me; just my boxer-briefs and nothing else.

Eww...

TMI Tuesday 10/25/11 with DauntlessD

1. Name 5 things you did more of before social networking (facebook, myspace, twitter, etc.)?

Wow, this one is tough. I'm in my early 40s, but computers and networking have been a part of my life since the 80s. I was doing social networking before they called it "social networking"; I even ran my own BBS for a time.

Ok, 5 things: 1, Reading novels. 2, Keeping up on the news. 3, Using the telephone for talking (wow, what a concept huh?) 4, gahh... I can't think of anymore!

2. Your house is on fire, what do you grab as you run out?

My family, my laptop and the classic, family photos that can't be replaced.

3. Are you a morning person or a night owl?

I used to be very much a night owl, but as I've gotten older I find I'm much sharper and on my game in the early morning. So now I'm in the middle, I'm almost a night owl with morning person tendencies.

a. What time did you go to bed last night? 10:30pm

b. What time did you wake up today? 6am.

4. A kid comes up to you and kicks you in the shin, what do you do?

Well if no one else was around it might be fun to teach the little runt a lesson. Maybe I'd erupt with an enormous roar and chase him around waving my arms like a crazy man. Then again if their parent is near maybe I'd just give them a scowl...

5. What three things do you never leave the house without?

Wallet, keys, phone. *yawn*

Bonus: Name a place that you visited last week that you’ve never visited before. Briefly tell us about the visit.

Madison and I visited a winery called dkcellers. I had visited many of the wineries in the area before but had never tasted at this one. I was quite a find! The wine was excellent and reasonably priced.

TMI Tuesday 9/13/11 with DauntlessD

This weeks TMI Tuesday questions are on Dating.

1. You’re on a speed date. You’ve got 7 minutes with the potential partner. You already know the person’s name. What are the first three questions you would ask?

What was the last adventurous thing you did?

What was the last conversation you had with your mother like?

On a vacation, would you prefer quiet solitude or shopping and nightlife?

That second question... I have no idea why it popped in my head, but it would likely provide some insight to a woman, don't you think?

2. Have you ever participated in speed dating? Did you get a regular date/second date out of it?

No, I've never tried speed dating. However I do know someone who got married as a result of s speed date.

3. Do you participate in online dating? How many dates have you had as a result of online dating sites/matches?

Yes, back in the pre-internet days we had what were called BBS's (Bulletin Board Systems), I've met an enormous amount of people online; had quite a few dates etc. too.

More recently there was Ashley Madison, if you can call that "online dating". Over the past 10 months or so I engaged in quite a lot conversation with roughly a dozen women of which about half of those I met in person, and only 2 of which I honestly liked; Kat and Madison. I found I wasn't interested in the quick hook-up. You can read a bit more about this in my last post, DauntlessD Exposed.

4. You are attracted to:

a. Who people are? This is by far what most attracts me, the person them self. Their compassion, their sense of humor, the types of things they enjoy etc.

b. What people have? This has little to do with what attracts me. I suppose it can tell a little about how responsible a person is, like if they're living beyond what they can afford; but beyond that -- dirt poor or rich -- who they are is more important to me.

c. What they can do? Nope, also not very important to me. Of course a guy is going to like a gal that can cook -- and vice-versa -- but this one could easily cross over into using them couldn't it?

5. What “little red flag” will cause you to end a date or immediately decide this person isn’t for you?

This one is hard for me, it could be a number of things; insincerity comes to mind... Immaturity too. Once after I'd been seeing a gal for a bit I was invited to dinner at her apartment. She asked me to pick up something from the store and I brought her the wrong brand. She threw herself on her couch in what looked like a little girls tantrum. My eyebrows shot up and alarm bells started going off in my head.

6. What do you feel you need to sacrifice or have sacrificed to be a part of a relationship?

This one is something I've been reflecting on a lot lately. I've come to realize that you must not parts of your personality. It's easy to do early on, it feels like a small thing. Then it bubbles up later. But to answer the question, time, comes to mind. You need to sacrifice some of your time to grow and cultivate a relationship.

7. If you cooked for your date, what would you cook?

I am a decent cook, but I am a god at the barbecue. I could do a nice pasta dish of some sort, but I'd most likely do shark, steak, or salmon on the grill. It would depend on what she liked.

8. At the end of a first date, how would you kiss your date?

a. Press your lips against theirs - if I liked her, but she seemed nervous.

b. Gentle kiss on the cheek - if I liked her, but she was young enough to be my daughter.

c. Lots o’ tongue, like you’re on a tonsil exploration - If I really liked her and she was engaging and not nervous.

d. I don’t kiss on the first date - what kind of a lame option is this?

TMI Tuesday with Cara (Nakedness) - 9/6/11

Now it's Cara's turn for TMI Tuesday.....

1. What do you wear to sleep in?

Usually a little nightie. Baby-doll style. I just love them and sometimes wish I could wear them out so that more people could enjoy my cute nighties.

2. Do you ever walk around your own place naked?

Yes. Mostly after a shower while I'm waiting for my lotion to absorb into my skin. I tend to procrastinate getting dressed which lengthens my naked-time.

3. Have you or would you ever answer the door naked?

I don't remember a specific occasion, but I'm certainly not opposed to it.

4. What part of your body do you like to be on show? Why?

I suppose my breasts because I have been told (by more people than just Kat) that I have a great set.;-)

5. When sunbathing how much do you bare?

As much as possible. I don't mind tan lines around my bikini bottom, but I don't like them on my chest because I wear strapless in the summer A LOT, and well, I consider it to be a fashion faux pas to have tan lines there.


6. Have you or would you bare all on a naturist (nude) beach?

I have.

7. Have you ever flashed your bits in public?

If not would you if it turned your partner on? I haven't yet, but I absolutely would as long as I didn't get arrested.

8. Have you ever given a striptease or has anyone given you one? Did you enjoy it?

Yes on both accounts, and I LOVE them. I love giving them and I love receiving them.

9. Ever gone skinny dipping? Alone or with others?

A few times... When I was in college, for Spring Break, a bunch of us when to Lake Havasu and after a day of drinking and playing on lake, of course we had to skinny dip. Then, a few years ago, some neighbors of mine had a pool and I skinny dipped there a few times alone, and then one time when I thought I was alone but wasn't... Their 22 year-old son was home from college, oopsie! It turned out okay though, because he didn't mind me being there at all!

10. Do you like to look at naked people or do you want show off your nakedness?

Who doesn't like to look at people naked? I would say that I like to look at people naked more than I like to show off my nakedness, but I also like to show off my nakedness to certain special people.;-)

Bonus:  Sexually speaking, what’s the furthest you would go with a partner in public? Have you had sex in public?

I'm not sure if this counts as public, but [again, in college], there was this guy who I was crazy about, so I did him in the bathroom at a party. I wanted people to know we were having sex in there and of course I was a little drunk. When someone knocked on the door to come in, I quickly put my panties on and walked out of the bathroom to the bedroom, with nothing on other than my tiny thong. I think the whole thing really excited the guy and we ended up dating for a while. Beyond that, I guess hand jobs in a movie theater are about it. I would probably do more, but only if I was relatively certain I wouldn't end up being arrested.

TMI Tuesday 8/23/11 with DauntlessD

1. When you go to a party, would you rather show up accidentally underdressed or overdressed?

Underdressed. I dress in a clean-cut but casual fashion and that's how I'm comfortable. I would feel more self-conscious if I were overdressed in a group; but on the flip side I might enjoy the attention depending on the setting.

2. What is something you have won and how did you win it? (Inspired by the An Optimistic Virgin)

I just can't seem to think of an answer for this question. Only one thing comes to mind and I know I should be able to think of something better. When I was a kid I always felt unlucky, one time I won a sleeping bag at a county fair raffle, I was ecstatic. Boring huh?

3. Do you squeeze the toothpaste from the middle, end, or top?

From the middle toward the bottom, and when needed I'll squeeze everything back up to the top... are we still talking about a toothpaste tube? ;-)

I am curious about this question though. Does this still irritate people like it used to? Back in the day there used to be those aluminum tooth paste tubes and squeezing it from the middle would cause some uptight folks to start foaming at the mouth and lose their minds in fury. However this was because trying to squeeze the toothpaste back to the top of the tube past the squished middle could cause the tube to break open and make a mess etc, this isn't true today with the plastic tubes.

4. What is something your parents used to say to you that you promised yourself you would never say–but now you catch yourself saying frequently?

Oh wow... I could write about this one for quite a while. "Turn off the light!", is probably the one that makes me most sound/feel like my father. An open door with the air conditioning running darn near sends me over the edge now; and every time the feeling erupts in me my dad comes to mind.

My father passed in his early 40s, roughly the same age I am now. While some of the cliché phrases he's say used to annoy, now they bring a smile and rekindle that sore spot in your heart that never seems to heal. For example, "Two wrongs don't make a right.", irritating as hell at 13, full of nostalgic wisdom today. I miss you dad.

5. What 3 lies did you regularly tell your parents? If applicable, what 3 lies do you tell your parents now?

"I don't have any homework.", "I don't have any homework.", and "I don't have any homework."

I would imagine as an adult with my mother, it's the lie we're often all guilty of, "I'm fine."

6. What is something that you intended to do today but didn’t? Why not? Will you do it tomorrow?

I'm answering my TMI questions in the morning, I haven't procrastinated on something today yet, but I'll get back to you.

7. What is something that people do in traffic that really bothers you? (inspired by My Quest To Be A Good Girl)

Speeding up to prevent me from changing lanes after I turn my turn signal on. Now I often don't bother using my turn signal when changing lanes just so people don't know what's about to happen.

8. Whose autographs have you collected? (You can stop at five, in case you’re an autograph hound or celebrity stalker).

Oh gosh, I really don't have any autographs. I used to have a couple of posters signed by a bikini model or two as a teen, but that's about it.

Right here in Sacramento, at the last place you would have ever thought, a mom and pop taco joint, I ran into Harrison Ford. I walk over to get my chips and salsa and this guy in jeans and a long sleeve shirt is in front of me. I see his profile and the stud in his ear and there is something familiar about him. Then he turns around and there I am standing face to face with Indiana Jones holding a basket of chips and a cup of salsa. He sat down an arms length away from me with a couple of friends. I would have killed to get the autograph of my biggest childhood hero, but I couldn't bring myself to pester him while he was trying to eat his burrito.

Bonus: Where do you go to find solitude, tranquility or connection to a higher power?

TMI Tuesday 8/2/11 with DauntlessD

1. What is your favorite summer clothing item or outfit?

Shh, I have a little secret I'll let you in on. I take my personal fashion very seriously. That laughter you hear is from the people that know me well. My clothing changes very little with the seasons, I'm sure this is in part due to living in California. I like to be comfortable, jeans and loose fitting camp shirts; or maybe a nice looking t-shirt. Oops, there it is you're yawning already... As for the ladies, I love how their clothing changes with the season. I believe I've mentioned this before, but when the weather starts warming up and the sundresses come out I absolutely love that. Sure the sundress can show a bit more skin, but the best ones aren't typically revealing. The combination of the warm weather, the light fabric and the comfort and freedom of movement offered by them just seems to capture that essence of raw feminine beauty. I love it seeing a woman whose comfortable in her surroundings, laughing with a sundress that is close fitting around the waist showing the swell of her hips. *sigh* wow, good stuff!

2. Did you or will you take a summer vacation? If yes, where did you go?

Yes I did take a vacation this year. I spent 3 weeks in South America visiting family. I had a wonderful time and spent some lazy days on picturesque tropical beaches.

3. What is your ideal weekend away (e.g. city, beach or wilderness)?

This is really a difficult decision for me, primarily between the beach or the wilderness. But if you made me choose for a weekend getaway I would choose the wilderness. I love being away camping. Now if California had some beaches like those I spent time at last month, I'd be camping on the beach!

4. What would you pack for a naughty weekend?

That's easy, a bag of ice, surgical tubing and clothes-pins. Haha, had you going didn't I? For a naughty weekend, I think the gal I wanted to spend it with would be number 1 on my list.

5. What item(s) do you never unpack, never take out of the luggage from trip to trip?

Oh gosh... Well at first I was going to say that extra pair of underwear, because well... ya never know what might happen. But those get unpacked. So it would have to be that pack of handy-wipes; those things are just handy to have on hand so they get toted around even if they go unused.

Bonus: Last vacation sex… Tell us what happened

Well the pop-up camper was a rockin' and those things don't have the thickest walls ya know?

Bonus: Which celebrity would you like to be locked in a hotel room with for 24 hours and what would you do to them.

Lake Bell. I fell in love with her while watching that TV show Surface. I almost forgot about her until she happened to pop-up on the news again recently. What would I do to her?! It would be easier to answer what I wouldn't do!

TMI Tuesday for August 2, 2011 - Summertime with Kat

1. What is your favorite summer clothing item or outfit?

My San Francisco Giants jersey, of course! Following that would be any Giants gear.

2. Did you or will you take a summer vacation? If yes, where did you go?

No summer vacation for me this year. Boohoo. 

3. What is your ideal weekend away (e.g. city, beach or wilderness)?

I love the beaches of northern California and anywhere near the ocean. Monterey Bay is my favorite. There’s a little hotel there right on the sand where you can hear the ocean all night and watch the moonlight reflecting on the waves. Mmmmm......I think heaven must be like that.

4. What would you pack for a naughty weekend?

Sexy negligee, lube, a toy or two, some clothes and shoes for walking on the beach or hiking. If it was a really naughty weekend, I might also pack some scarves to serve as blindfolds and restraints.

5. What item(s) do you never unpack, never take out of the luggage from trip to trip?

I travel frequently for work, so I have a bag that is always packed with duplicates of the essentials - makeup, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, hairspray, basic over the counter cold medication (you never have it on the road when you need it, ya know?), lube (It's not only the Boy Scouts who think one should always “be prepared”), and a bag of microwave popcorn (for those late night munchies - most hotels give you microwave access now). When I need to go somewhere, either for work or play, I just throw in some clothes and go.

Bonus: Last vacation sex… Tell us what happened

Gee, this had to be a couple of years ago.  I was on a two week cruise with my husband. During the first week we ran ourselves ragged with shore excursions and ship activities. We spent most of the second week in bed, having sex 2-3 times a day and lounging around naked. Hmmm....actually, I think heaven must be like that.

TMI for August 2, 2011 - Summertime with Cara

Cara loves summertime, so it's not surprising that she was the first to get her TMI questions answered.

1.What is your favorite summer clothing item or outfit?

My favorite thing to wear in the summer is a strapless dress, such as in the photo here or in last week's HNT photo. As far as I'm concerned, I can never have too many strapless dresses. Why? Because I hate the look of tan lines on my shoulders.:-)

2. Did you or will you take a summer vacation? If yes, where did you go?

This summer, I took several mini-vacations. I went to Half Moon Bay, Capitola, Pismo Beach, Santa Cruz, and LA. It's hot in the summer where I live, so I love to take little getaways to the beach.

3. What is your ideal weekend away (e.g. city, beach or wilderness)?

I prefer going to beach towns because I love to shop. I am not much of a camper, unless I go with my parents so that they can do all the work, but on the whole, I'd rather be in a hotel or B&B. And if we're talking "ideal" it'd be a 4 star hotel or Bed & Breakfast from the Select Registry  book of Inns. I LOVE nothing more than staying in a nice hotel or B&B.

4. What would you pack for a naughty weekend?

Toothbrush, toothpaste, and Astroglide.

5. What item(s) do you never unpack, never take out of the luggage from trip to trip?

I unpack everything. I'm somewhat of a neat freak (can one be "somewhat" of a neatfreak, or is like being "somewhat pregnant"?), and as such, like to have everything in it's designated spot. :-)

TMI Tuesday with DauntlessD 6/21/11

1. How many states have you had sex in? How many countries? Yes, Oral counts! All sex acts– penetrative or not– are sex.

2 Countries, USA and Mexico, and 3 States, California, Nevada and Arizona.

2. What do you think is the sexiest piece of clothing a man/women wears on a daily basis? e.g., bra, jeans, sundress, dress shirt, etc.

Daily? Does Sundress classify as daily? Ok, back to the question. I tend to be an ass and leg guy so for daily would have to say panties. From the thong to those lacy little hip ones when they look nice framing all the naughty bits it makes me weak in the knees. Oh, this question has my mind swirling with images! Thigh-high stockings oooh I love those too! catching a glimpse of the lacy top of thigh-highs will turn me into a stuttering fool. Now if Sundresses do classify as daily, whoa, they can be incredible. Sheesh, who am I kidding, I just love women both in and out clothes!

3. Would you date yourself? Why or why not?

This is a really an interesting question. I will answer it as honestly as I can and maybe Kat can comment on my answer. I believe I am one of those kind of people where there is more than meets the eye. I am a fairly deep and thoughtful person and it takes me a bit of time to open up, but when I do I believe most find I have a good sense of humor and am compassionate and loyal. So Yes, I would date myself.

4. Which muscle do you work the hardest: brain, heart, mouth?

The above are actually in order for me. I work my brain the hardest, followed by my heart and my mouth is a pretty distant last. Often I can over think things. This is another question I'm sure Kat can dish on, she knows me quiet well.

5. Fill-in the blank: I’m a total priss when it comes to _____ .

Every time there is at least one question that I find difficult to answer. Hmm... what will make me scream like an eight year old girl... I suppose seeing limbs pointing at angles they shouldn't be. Or seeing children being hurt... I'm not sure if this is what this question was after though...

Bonus: Describe your darkest fantasy.

Ah the dark fantasy... Not long ago Kat and I were reading Training to Pleasure together. In the book the main male character's would-be sub is given a torc. The description of it resembled something like this:

However the band was more malleable and the balls were of disproportionate and appropriate sizes for their -- to put it politely -- feminine insertion points. I found the thought of gifting this piece of jewelry to a woman, and her willingness to wear it for me incredibly arousing. A little chain with an inscribed tag would also be lovely. TMI Tuesday with Kat - In the Mood....

It's TMI Tuesday again, and this week is all about being in the mood.

1. What puts you in a creative mood?

It's all about inspiration for me and seizing the moment.  I can get into a creative mood in just about any setting, but I'll lose it if I don't start writing right at that very moment.  For example, I was in a very boring and uninspiring meeting for work this morning when an idea for a post popped into my head as I was looking at someone else in the meeting. I opened my notebook and started jotting down ideas immediately and it was like turning on a faucet of creativity.  It just kept flowing and flowing. After that post was done, I pulled out my topic list and started another, then another. I know, however, that if I had not started writing when the idea hit me, the creativity would have been gone when I sat down to write it later. That's juts the way it is for me.

I'd like to be able to say that I can go out into nature and feel creative, but the truth is that it's not that predictable. It's about having something to say, and the creativity starts flowing once I start to say it.

2. What puts you in a silly mood?

Laughing with friends or playing with my young son are the surest ways to put me in a silly mood.

3. What puts you in a contemplative mood?

Nature. A friend's probing question. A beautifully written piece of prose or poetry. Watching my little one sleep. Resting in the arms of someone I love. Being alone in the dark.
4. What puts you in a competitive mood?

I get competitive if anyone starts to challenge my skill in my business world. A challenge just makes me want to prove myself. This has softened a bit in recent years, but it's still there.

I also get in a very competitive mood when I'm watching the San Francisco Giants play. There's nothing like watching the World Champions do their thing.

5. If you consider yourself a talkative person, what puts you in a quiet mood? If you consider yourself a quiet person, what puts you in a talkative mood?

I'm definitely a talkative person.  The same things that make me contemplative (see umber 4, above) also make me quiet. A lover's tongue or cock in my mouth also tends to shut me up, too.

6. What can a person do that will instantly put you in a sexy mood?

1. What time did you go to bed last night and were you alone?

I was a light-weight last night and went to bed about 9:30. We had a Memorial Day barbecue with a large gathering. Yard work, house cleaning, food preparation, fun and indulging in my famous sangria, slumber started sounding good as early as 8:30. No I was not in bed alone, my wife was as tired as I was.


2. If you could be given ANY gift what would it be?

Money is the obvious choice, but not because I want material things -- I want time and options. I am at a point in my life where I pretty much have all the playthings I want... Uhhh... let's narrow the scope of that last statement a bit. Doggie Daunt can't say he has already caught all the women he wants to chase ;) Anyhow, as I was saying, I don't really want any more toys. I want the freedom to spend time doing the things that I want to do; writing, answering TMI questions whatever that may be.


3. What was the last film that really moved/disturbed/thrilled you and why?

I have to agree with Kat on this one. City Island is a truly wonderful movie that moved me; comedic and full of heart it still surprises me how it quietly slipped through the theaters with so few noticing.

City Island moved me because of all honest bits of truth in it. It is about a dysfunctional family and the secrets and regrets they hide from one another; but all the while still loving one another. Take the time to see it if you haven't already, trust me you'll be telling your friends about it. It's too late to add this to the Prowling with Kat Trivia Contest, but I enjoyed this movie so much I named one of my Ashley Madison profiles after one of its characters. If one of you ladies, or gentlemen with "Claire" accounts finds it we'll award you with some Prowling With Kat bragging rights!


4. What is your favorite way to wake up and what is the first thing you do?

I enjoy waking up slowly where you're almost awake and feel like you're on a cloud, warm and content. Feeling the warmth of a lover against my body makes waking up like this doubly delicious.

TMI Tuesday with Kat - May 31, 2011

Is it Tuesday again?  Already? It must be because it's TMI time!
 
1. What time did you go to bed last night and were you alone?

Midnight, and I was not alone.  I was with my husband. I wanted to stay up later, but he wanted to go to bed and he refuses to go to bed if I am still up, so I went to bed because he was exhausted.  It was sort of like when I was a kid and I had to put on a sweater because my mom was cold.


2. If you could be given ANY gift what would it be?

 This is a tough one! I would love the gift of perfect health. I took my health for granted when I was a young woman, and now I wish I had paid more attention to it because once it starts to go, you can't get it back. If perfect health were not on the gift table, then I'd pick time. Time is a scarce resource in my life. I'd love to have more.  Ok, ok, if I have to pick something that is actually possible to give as a gift, I would be very grateful for about $50 million. They say that money can't buy happiness.  Well, I'll let you know.

3. What was the last film that really moved/disturbed/thrilled you and why?

City Island. It moved me and it disturbed me.  DauntlessD suggested I watch it a couple of months ago.  Actually, he recommended it before then but I didn't watch it until a couple of months ago. I have learned that when Dauntless makes a book or movie suggestion, I should jump on it quickly for two reasons.  First, he's usually right when he says something is good and worth seeing or reading.  Second, he gets pretty upset with me if I don't follow his recommendations.  He's still giving me grief for not finishing Game of Thrones.


As for why I found City Island moving and disturbing, it's about family dynamics (if you think your family is dysfunctional, watch this movie and you will feel so much better). Everyone in the family has secrets, and the main character has a dream that he keeps from his wife and pretty much everyone he knows, but pursuing it really feeds his need for creativity and for something in his life that is just his.  He then develops a secret friendship that makes a big difference in his life. Wait a minute....that sounds a lot like my life....hmmm.......


4. What is your favorite way to wake up and what is the first thing you do?

As for working out, can someone please clarify for me how that is different from "b - Extend a sexual interlude?" I consider that a "kill two birds with one stone" sort of thing, even though neither has anything to do with actually killing birds or throwing stones.

Hmmm, spa day? That's my all time favorite gift. One time, I had this admirer who, despite being married, thought I was pretty addictive. Late TMI Tuesday - Getting to Know DauntlessD

This is a little late inspired upon reading Kat and Will's answers.

1. What is your online profile name and what does it mean?
My profile name stems from my Ashley Madison account. When I first signed up on AM it was half professional and half personal curiosity. I was at work hunkered down and covertly surfing on the AM site. I was nervous and looking over my shoulder, I was at work after all, and this affected my mood. I chose a handle of “quietnobody”. Shortly after found the Ashley Me Blog. I sent an email to the notorious Riff Dog and right away he said, “quietnobody?! Dude that’s the first thing that’s got to go.” So after some reflection in a less jittery state, I worked on thinking up something that fit my personality while at the same time might be appealing and a bit mysterious to women. “DauntlessDreamer” is what I came up with and I liked the contrast of the words. Since it is kind of long I shortened it for the blog and twitter to DauntlessD.
2. How did you decide on the title of your blog?
I didn’t the lovely Kat did and gave me permission to irritate you all.

3. How much of your online personality transcends into your real life? What’s the biggest difference between the two?
I was largely prompted to participate in TMI Tuesday upon reading Will’s answers, I found my self relating to him and enjoying his honest answers. Like him the anonymity allows me to show a side of my personality that only you all get to see. The majority of the time you see me raw and unvarnished. However there are times I find myself wanting to hide the more vulnerable side of me that I fear make me look weak or wimpy; for example the Plate of Cookies Mentality post made me feel that way.

4. What have you stumbled across through reading blogs that really made you want to try it out? Have you done it yet? Was it a good, bad or so so experience?
